Welcome to Rhodene, where luxury self-catering cottages and a contemporary farmhouse await your arrival. Experience the charm of three cottages on Rhodene and indulge in the comfort of seven cottages and the farmhouse on Voëlvlei.

Located just a 90-minute drive from Cape Town, our farm is conveniently situated just 500 meters off a well-maintained tarred road. Set against the backdrop of the Skurweberg Mountains, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking view of the lush Ceres valley.

Rhodene is a productive deciduous fruit farm, primarily growing a variety of pears, complemented by apples and peaches. The fruit picking season spans from December to April.

Unwind in your private cottage, explore scenic walking and cycling trails, enjoy leisurely bass fishing at our dam, observing birds, gazing at the stars, or take a refreshing dip in the shared swimming pool.

Additionally, there is a designated play area for children.

OUR ACCOMMODATION

We offer a total of ten beautiful self-catering luxury cottages along with a spacious farmhouse, all of which come fully furnished.

Every cottage is equipped with built-in cupboards and countertops, a television, a selection of DSTV channels (selected news, sport, kids & movie channels), a refrigerator featuring a freezer compartment, a stove inclusive of an oven, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, as well as a complete set of cutlery, crockery, and utensils.

Each individual cottage or unit boasts under-floor heating and/or a fireplace to provide warmth during the colder winter months, while fans ensure comfort during the summer.

The farmhouse is also equipped with a fireplace, under-floor heating, oil heaters, ceiling fans, and air-conditioning.

All options have an outdoor stoep and barbecue facilities for an enjoyable outdoor experience. Limited Wi-fi is available at most of the cottages.
Moreover, bedding, towels, and weekly cleaning services are included as part of the package.

It’s important to note that the layout varies among the cottages, offering a unique experience in each one.

Excellent value for money. Great chalets on a fruit farm. Swimming pool, hiking trail, and braai facilities made it very pleasant to stay there. Definitely good for family stays.

It was very peaceful and quiet. No city noise. Very welcoming host and cosy cottage. Good fishing (small mouth bass) caught a lot (14). The dam was very clear for fishing and a nice pool to cool off in.

We have been to Rhodene a few times and keep going back for more! This time we stayed in Voelvlei House. It was absolutely idyllic. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for multiple families, the private garden is huge and complete with sparkling swimming pool, and you are in the orchards with that amazing farm / countryside feeling.
